Start Your Day On A Positive Note

When you wake up in the morning, what is the first thing you think of? Is it your blessings or your problems? Your goals or your debt?

We all must make a conscious decision to start each and every day on a positive note. I like to start my day by praying and thanking God for the many blessings He has given me. I thank Him for my marriage, for my husband, for my children. I thank Him for the health of my family, for the food on our table and for the roof over our heads. I thank Him for leading me to Young Living and for helping me build my business. Then, I read my Bible. I have found the Bible to be a wellspring of positive stories. Stories of faith and hope. Stories of people who relied on God and were rewarded for their faithfulness.

I started this practice about 6 months ago and I can tell you this, no matter what comes my way during the day, I have been able to handle it with a positive attitude and the faith that God will make everything turn out alright.

It is important to discard your doubts and worries. Cast them into God’s hands and know that He is stronger than any problem you may be facing. And as long as God is for us, who can be against us?

Stay focused on your faith, the goals you have set for yourself and your life. What you think about, you bring about. Why not bring about wonderful things and concentrate on that?

If your problems are your focus, they will grow bigger. If you concentrate on your blessings and your goals, you will be amazed at how good things will be drawn into your life. And isn’t that what you want? Isn’t that what we all want?

Your thoughts are your own. You decide the direction they go. They are completely under your control. Make sure your thoughts benefit you and don’t hurt you. Make sure they nourish you and don’t defeat you.

Decide today that you will no longer be defeated, worried and downtrodden. You will rise above. You will be positive and you will take steps every day to ensure your life is one of hope, belief and prosperity.

May you have a blessed day!

  2. Thinking positive as soon as you wake up in the morning was the hardest thing my hubs ever did, not that he was super negative but he wanted to be and do better, this one simple step changed his life forever!
