5 Exercises You Can Do

I don’t even know where I read this. It may have been one of my running magazines, but it was suggested that to get fit, you should do these 5 exercises every day to get fit:

1. Pushups
2. Squats
3. Plie Squats
4. Planks
5. Crunches

I started doing these last week when the boys and I finished our run in the mornings. We started out at 15 reps each and have added one rep each day. We are up to 21 this morning and will work up to 45 reps.

After a week, I can see a difference in the mirror.

I also added a series of stretching exercises once we are done with these. They are really yoga moves I learned from a Bikram Yoga class, but it gets in a full body stretch. I really miss Bikram yoga, but by the time I drive to the class, taken the class, drive home and shower (because I am drenched in sweat by the end), it’s a 3 hour chunk out of my day. With this routine, the run takes 30 minutes, the exercises and stretches are done in 15 and I’ve got my entire day ahead of me.
