Find Power Beyond Your Comfort Zone

comfortFind your power beyond your comfort zone.

Do you know what that means?

It means you should do something that stretches you beyond what you think is possible. That can be anything about you: your body, your mind, your spirit or your life goals.

If you never stretch outside of that place which is comfortable, you can never grow. Sure, it may be painful to stretch yourself, but the growth is worth it. Think of trying a really difficult new workout. It may be really hard to get through the routine at first. You may be really sore the next day, but the end result is worth the temporary discomfort of trying something new.

You should always nurture a growth mindset. A mindset that says, “There is more to life than where I am.” There is more life, more love, more to learn, more to experience and more to achieve.

Tell yourself that it is okay to be uncomfortable. Make friends with being uncomfortable, for that is the place where you will discover the strength and the power to create a new you!

You are special. You are unique. You are capable of great things.

You can live the life you have always dreamed of. You just need to believe that you can, know where you are going, map out a plan and take the steps necessary to achieve the life you want. Even if that means stepping outside of your comfort zone.

I will tell you something I have discovered. Nothing is ever as bad as you imagine them to be. My first essential oil class I taught I thought I was going to throw up. But you know what? I didn’t. I stumbled through, figured out what I forgot, what I needed to do next time and learned from the experience.

The next time I had to teach a class, I felt way more comfortable being in front of strangers and telling them about my love for these oils.

Anything new is uncomfortable. If you make a mistake, learn from it, grow and move on.

It’s like riding a bike. At first, it was scary and uncomfortable and you probably fell down a lot when you first started to learn. But you didn’t give up. You got back on and kept peddling until it was second nature.

This is what I believe life should be like. We should always be learning something new and stretching ourselves beyond what we think we’re capable of.

Remember this, if someone else has achieved it, you can achieve it too. I am a big believer in Tony Robbins’ philosophy of success leaving clues. If you want the same results someone else got, then do what they did and you will get the same results.

Want a body similar to Jennifer Aniston? Eat what she eats and exercise the way she exercises. Want to reach the top of your company? Then do what other leaders have done to get there.

Follow the clues and stretch yourself. You will find success lies beyond your comfort zone.
