7 Fabulous Smoothie Recipes


I love to juice and I love smoothies. A juice will give me that instant “good nutrients immediately coursing through my veins” feeling, while a smoothie will help fill me us with great nutritional goodness.

In short, smoothies make me feel like I’ve had a meal so I don’t get hungry. It’s all that great fiber!

So, I decided to share some of my favorite smoothie recipes with you today.


1. Pina Colada Smoothie

This is like a dessert, so when you’re craving something sweet, this will hit the spot! This recipe is a lot more decadent than I use. Basically, I just use pineapple, organic coconut milk, coconut shavings, a banana, raw honey and ice. It’s delish!


2. Carrot Cake Smoothie

This is a great morning smoothie to start off the day right. If you like carrot cake, you’ll love this smoothie!


3. Glowing Skin Smoothie

This one has it ALL! pineapple, kale, banana, coconut water, mango and more! Definitely give this one a try if you want to see your skin looking A+!


4. Sunshine Smoothie

Feeling sluggish? Then this is the smoothie for you! Kale, kiwi, orange and lemon will give you the pick-me-up you need to start your day off right!


5. “Skinny” Strawberry Pomegranate Smoothie

Because this one is too pretty NOT to make and drink! I skip the pomegranate juice and just put the pomegranate seeds in with the strawberries. I also use coconut water instead of just water to kick up the nutrient value. I think you’ll like this one! If you need to know how to seed a pomegranate, check out the video here.


6. Blueberry Smoothie

Blueberries are loaded with antioxidants. Plus, they’re just plain yummy! Try this immune-boosting smoothie for a delicious snack in the middle of the day and you’ll be good to go with tons of energy!

7. “Wendy’s Frosty” Smoothie

If you need to get some protein in your life, but want to feel like you’re cheating by having something decadent when you’re really not, then this is the smoothie for you! This is definitely something you’ll want to keep on hand if you or someone in your family is a chocoholic!

So there you have my 7 favorite smoothie recipes! Since I’d already blogged about my two absolute favorites (Cherry Lime Smoothies and Cake Batter Smoothie), I thought I’d share a few others that caught my eye and have been added to my smoothie rotation. I hope you enjoy them too!
